INFORMATION TO DATA SUBJECTS PURSUANT TO THE ITALIAN PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION CODE

Studio Barbero is pleased to inform you that your personal data are collected and processed in full compliance with the Italian law.

  1. Purposes of the processing.

Following please find the list of purposes for which your personal data are processed:

  1. in order to perform Studio Barbero’s consulting activity on trademarks’ protection on the internet;
  2. in order to receive Studio Barbero’s newsletters and other informative documentation via email, except when you expressly deny  your consent to such activity by contacting Studio Barbero as further detailed in paragraph 4.

 

  1. The modalities of the processing.

Personal data undergoing processing shall be:

  1. processed lawfully and fairly;
  2. collected and recorded for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes and used in further processing operations in a way that is not inconsistent with said purposes;
  3. accurate and, when necessary, kept up to date;
  4. relevant, complete and not excessive in relation to the purposes for which they are collected or subsequently processed;
  5. kept in a form which permits identification of the data subject for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed.

Pursuant to purpose 1 a., providing the requested data is mandatory and by not doing so Studio Barbero could not perform its consulting activity. With reference to purpose 1 b., providing the requested data is voluntary.

Please be advised that your data could be communicated to our associates and branch inside and outside the EU and to whom it is deemed to be necessary in order to reach the purposes of paragraph 1. Your data shall not be disseminated and shall be processed also via electronic means.

 

  1. Right to Access Personal Data and Other Rights.

Pursuant to art. 7 of the Italian Personal Data Protection Code and upon request, Studio Barbero is pleased to confirm you as to whether or not personal data concerning you exist in its offices, inform you on the source of the personal data, on the purposes and methods of the processing, on the logic applied to the processing, if the latter is carried out with the help of electronic means, on the identification data concerning data controller, data processors and the representative designated as per Section 5(2), on the entities or categories of entity  to whom or which the personal data may be communicated and who or which may get to know said data in their capacity as designated representative(s) in the State’s territory, data processor(s) or person(s) in charge of the processing.

You, as a data subject, shall have the right to obtain:

  1. updating, rectification or, where interested therein, integration of the data;
  2. erasure, anonymization or blocking of data that have been processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which they have been collected or subsequently processed;
  3. certification to the effect that the operations as per letters a) and b) have been notified, as also related to their contents, to the entities to whom or which the data were communicated or disseminated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared with the right that is to be protected.
